Why no interfacing on lower gusset, when the pattern calls for it? Nerdy confusing. My gusset lining totally stretched. I had to start the gusset all over. 😢

is it possible to attach a separate crossbody strap? is there a way to add D rings for a longer detachable strap?

Do you have to sew down the strap edges if you are going to put a rivet and strap end caps?

This is a popular bag made in cork. I make it lined and cut the tassel at 1/8". I've tried using the heat transfer vinyl on the back and for me, it was too heavy and needed to be cut in the 1/4" width. I add a couple of inside pockets too. This is a really popular Mom bag with magnetic snap closure. Thanks Jess!

Where can I get the rivet tools?

I like the bag! When you talked up the nylon I checked out the links, but goodness, $31 for a yard? Sorry not in the budget. My wallet ran away to hide when I saw the prices.

Just got home from Sewcation Sin City and didn’t get a chance to say hi while we were there! Wanted to thank you for having such a great RUclips channel! Been sewing my whole life and been a knitting project bag maker for the last 8 years and your channel showed up on my channel one day a couple of years ago and man was I hooked on handbag/ purse making! Now I get to attend these conventions with some really great people who also love to make gorgeous bags out of all sorts of fun vinyl and other fandom fabrics! Also a fellow Disney lover!

I'm so excited you are doing this bag tutorial! I bought the pattern a while back, but haven't gotten around to trying it. Your tutorials are my absolute go to! You always make the steps seem so clear and easy. There is another bag by Studio Kat Designs called the Cosmo Convertible that is very similar to this one. I bet you would love it as well. The straps attach differently at the top so it doesnt fold over when being used as a backpack. Thanks for being Amazing 😍

Omg, I have a bag similar to that. Mine only has a small pocket on the inside and a tiny zip pocket on the outside. Wish it had more pockets. Of love the colors of your bag.
